Meet Nedallas Hammill
Native Spirit Dancers
Nedallas Hammill is a member of the Dine’ (Navajo) Nation. He resides in Benton, Wisconsin. He took his first steps in the Pow Wow arena when he was a year old. He’s been performing since he was 3.
Here are a few of Nedallas’ accomplishments:
- Top 10 at the World Champion Hoop Dance Competition 2023, in the Adult Division
- 2020 Teen World Champion Hoop Dancer – 30th Annual World Championship Hoop Dance Contest at the Heard Museum
- Scout Leader at Canyon Camp, Stockton, Illinois
- Completed all requirements of an Eagle Scout (December 2018)
- Completed all requirements of a Webelos II Scout (March 2014)
- 3rd Place in the Teen Division at the 2019 Heard Museum Hoop Dance Championship
- Top 10 at the World Champion Hoop Dance Competition 2017 and 2018, in the Teen Division
- Top 5 at the World Champion Hoop Dance Competition 2013 through 2016, in the Junior Division
- 2nd Place in the Junior Division at the 2012 Heard Museum Hoop Dance Championship
- 2nd Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do (January 2013)
- Graduating Class of 2021, Boulder Creek High School, Anthem, AZ
- He’s a 4.0 Student
- National Honor Society Member for 5 years
- Junior at UW-PLatteville studying business and on the Dean’s list
He obtained his Eagle Scout in December 2018:
- He has completed all requirements of a Scout, Tenderfoot, Second Class, First Class, Star and Life
- His Eagle project was “Be The Match” The National Marrow Donor Program – https://bethematch.org
Goals:
- to one day run the family business ~ Native Spirit Productions, LLC
- wants to become a graphic artist or game designer
- wants to win the title of World Champion Hoop Dancer in the Adult Division
- while attending UW-Platteville, he wants to obtain his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration
